Substance Use Disorder Drop In Programs
Description
Offers members a safe and supportive environment as they travel the road of recovery. Focus is on individuals ages 16-20 years of age who are in recovery from or who may be at risk of developing a substance use disorder. Uses a non-clinical approach to the recovery process by providing a positive atmosphere and safe space with various activities and resources to instill hope and inspiration.
Activities include:
- Health and Wellness Classes
- Outdoor activities
- Games
- Development of culinary skills
- Community integration activities
Supports members by:
- Helping to initiate and sustain the recovery process for individuals and families
- Guiding people to resources for harm reduction, detox, treatment, family support, and education
- Offering access to local and online support groups
- Helping people in recovery to become personal guides to others seeking recovery
- Helping members find ways to stop using (abstinence) and reduce harm associated with addictive behaviors

Hours
Monday-Friday, 3pm-9pm.
Eligibility
Young adults ages 16-20 who are in recovery from substance abuse or those who may be at risk of developing a substance use disorder.

Walk in or by agency, doctor, word of mouth, or private referral.
Program Fees
Free.
Languages
