Description
A nonprofit organization providing preventive, emergency, and transitional shelter/housing programs to men who are homeless and impoverished, as well as the services detailed below to anyone in need.

Offers Community Food Pantry which distributes food twice per week (see Hours below) along with clothing distribution. Provides a Community Meal Program, which offers 3 meals every day - morning, noon, and evening - including holidays. No one will be turned away who comes hungry at any time. Offers meals on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day at the usual scheduled times for the Community Meal Program (see Hours below), on site and open to the community. Meals will be served in the dining room with social distancing.

Also offers Turkey Express and Hambone Express, which deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to households who reserve a spot; maximum number of meals is 8 per household. Meals are delivered on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.


Hours
Community Food Pantry & Clothing Distribution: Tuesday & Thursday, 12 noon-3pm.

Community Meal Program (Daily, Monday-Sunday): Breakfast, 8:30am-9am; Lunch, 11:30am-12 noon; Dinner, 4pm-4:30pm.

Office: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Eligibility
Anyone in need; men seeking shelter must be ambulatory and able to take care of themselves.

Community Food Pantry: Serves individuals and families living in their own places of residence who need groceries to help meet their practical needs.

Service Area: WNY.

Intake Process
Community Food Pantry: All grocery bags will be located at the pick up location, situated at the receiving door of the City Mission on the Oak Street side.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Meals (On-Site): Walk in during regular Community Meal Program hours; no reservation necessary.

Program Fees
Free; men may stay in shelter for up to 45 days at no charge.

Spanish sometimes available.

Accessibility
The new Men's Community Center (Alfiero Family Center) is ADA compliant. There is an elevator on site with access to all floors.
